We’ve been waiting to go back to the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor in Disney’s Magic Kingdom since Disney World reopened!

Disney announced that the Laugh Floor would reopen this Sunday, August 8th, but today we saw that it opened EARLY in Magic Kingdom! We couldn’t resist going in to see the monstrous comedy show!
In case you haven’t been, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is like a stand-up comedy show, only it’s all monsters as the comedians! The creepy Roz watches over the whole thing as the monsters try to fill up the tank in the theater with your laughs!

We saw the sign outside, which announced the show would be running continuously today from 12PM to 8PM. Today was a soft opening, so the ride is still not set to be officially open until this Sunday, August 8th.

In the queue, there are signs inviting guests to submit jokes, because your jokes could be used in the show!

Inside the theater, guests were not socially distanced, but they were all wearing masks.

Throughout the show, monsters come on to tell jokes and do skits, all in an attempt to fill the laugh tank. Roz acts as the manager and critic!
