When Disney World reopened last year, a LOT changed, especially with entertainment.
Some entertainment went away altogether, while other experiences were modified to account for health and safety guidelines.
The global health crisis has rattled the entertainment industry in a very serious way.
The Disney Parks are not excluded. With Disneyland remaining closed until further notice and many offerings (including some live entertainment) on hiatus for the foreseeable future in Disney World, Disney announced that 28,000 Cast Members would be laid off.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Magic Kingdom because the FIRST Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of 2019 is OFFICIALLY taking place! This extra-ticket event will run on select nights (you can find the dates here) in the Magic Kingdom from now through December 22, 2019, and we are here LIVE to bring you all the details on treats, merchandise, entertainment, and MORE!
Guests can watch the NEW Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, meet some of their favorite characters in their best holiday looks, munch on holiday cookies and drinks, and more throughout the night! When the end of summer hits and fall begins, we’re always more than ready to visit Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We hope you’re ready for a spooky post because we went to the first party of the year (still in a candy daze tbh), and we’re ready to tell you allll about this year’s entertainment offerings!
Spooky season is upon us, my friends!! (I know — you’re all “But wait; it’s JULY and Halloween is in OCTOBER!” and we’re all “I KNOW, but DISNEY!” And it’s true — Disney starts the Halloween season in early August every year!
