The Disney parks are constantly changing, which is why there’s almost always construction!
From the massive projects at the front of EPCOT’s Future World to the little refurbishments happening all over, Disney is hard at work building and rebuilding all over the parks. However, sometimes all of this construction can end up making some areas look like a hot mess. Today, one Magic Kingdom area was definitely looking messy.
If you’ve been to Disney World lately, then you know exactly what area we’re about to discuss: Frontierland! We noticed a LOT of construction going on in this area today with massive scrim coverings (that big brown cloth they use to cover up construction) on some of the area’s buildings. We first noticed it over by Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe!
Along with the scrim, there is also a fenced area with some bushes behind it, right in front of Frontier Mercantile! There was also a sign directing guests towards the entrance of the Frontier Trading Post gift shop.
And finally, we gotta talk about all that Splash Mountain construction! We’ve been noticing a good amount of scaffolding on the exterior of the ride. Even though all this construction isn’t a huge deal in terms of getting around the parks and the ride remains open, it still takes away from the view!
For now, we’ll pardon Frontierland’s “Prairie Dust!” We’re always keeping up with the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more!
