Listen, it’s no secret that here at DFB, there are some classic Disney foods that we love…

…and others not so much. It’s our job to share our food opinions, and we’re definitely not shy about our feelings when it comes to what we eat. But now, it looks like one of our old rivals is ready to clap back!

We haven’t been quiet about our disdain for Disney World’s turkey legs in the past. And maybe we were a bit harsh, but seriously, could anyone honestly say that they’re the BEST snack in Disney World? Or even in the top 5? (I mean, Dole Whip exists and that’s some stiff competition.) Seriously turkey legs, do better.

Yeah, we’ll pass.

OK…in all seriousness…we get it. SOME of you totally heart a good mega-sized, meaty, salty turkey leg. We’re not here to turkey-shame. This snack has long been debated by Disney fans. Some LOVE it. Some…not so much. So turkey leg stans, we see you. But sorry, we’re usually on the “no thanks” side of the turkey leg debate.

It’s just a giant slab of dry, salty meat.

Well, apparently turkey legs have had enough of us and other naysayers (AKA people with taste buds), hating on them. They took to TikTok to fight back against our comments, and we’ll be honest, it made us — and some other Disney snacks — feel pretty awkward.

Maybe this will inspire the Disney turkey leg to do a little reflection and self-improvement. Maybe we’ll send it a self-help book to check out. Either way, we’d like to formally apologize to the Dole Whips, the corn dog nuggets, and all the people on the internet who had to watch this embarrassing rant.

What a drama queen.
