We’ve seen quite a few restaurant reopenings at Disney World in the past few months!
We tried the newly reopened Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom, Toledo at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and Yachtsman Steakhouse just recently. Back at the beginning of July, the ever-popular ‘Ohana reopened at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort reopened, and now it looks like the restaurant is getting some major changes!
Today we learned that several items from the original dinner menu are returning to ‘Ohana today! Since reopening, the menu has been modified, but now guests can enjoy some fan-favorite classics.
This morning, the menu was updated slightly on the website. Prices have stayed the same at $55 for adults and $33 for children, but some items have been swapped out. The Mixed Greens Salad, Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings, and Pork Dumplings remain, but now the signature ‘Ohana Bread will be offered again with honey butter!
The biggest changes come in the ‘Ohana dinner skillet. Now, the skillet has Wood-fire Grilled Teriyaki Beef*, Spicy Peel-n-Eat Shrimp, Grilled Chicken with Polynesian-inspired Chimichurri Sauce, ‘Ohana Noodles, and Roasted Broccolini. Gone is the Island Shrimp Casserole, the Kielbasa Sausage, and the roasted chicken has been swapped to the grilled option. The rest of the items remain the same.
It’s also important to note that pre-COVID, these meats came in the form of skewers, but it looks like they’ll be offered skillet-style now instead. And don’t worry, the beloved ‘Ohana Bread Pudding is still around for dessert!
We’ll be there to try things out ASAP, so stay tuned to DFB! We’ve got the latest food news from around Walt Disney World to share with you!
