It’s time to show some love to the Disney Princesses! As part of Disney’s Ultimate Princess Celebration, Disney is debuting a “once-in-a-lifetime, global extravaganza,” that will include a variety of new princess-themed content, merchandise, FOOD, experiences, and more!
Not only that, but a brand new World Princess Week is coming to Walt Disney World, and it will be full of royal festivities!
Disney’s Princess Week celebration will officially kick off on August 23 in Walt Disney World, so be on the lookout for some extra princess-y offerings across the parks and resorts!
As part of the event, EPCOT will unveil a new Tiana-themed playground that will be around for the 50th Anniversary!
We’re already looking forward to the new Disney Princess treats coming to the parks and resorts. Disney announced that they will be offering some delicious new desserts like cheesecake, cupcakes, cookies, and more!
If you have a little one who LOVES Disney Princesses, check out the Princess Promenade coming to Disney Springs on August 26 (costumes are encouraged)!
The Princess Promenade will take place at the AdventHealth Waterside Stage (across from the World of Disney store). Here, you can and watch a princess-themed entertainment performance that will take place from 2-6PM. How fun does this sound?!
Speaking of Disney Springs, there will be lots of new Princess-inspired merchandise available to purchase, as well as some new Princess selfie walls that will make the perfect backdrop for a cute picture!
Finally, you can even participate in the Princess Week celebration at your Disney resort! The nighty Movies Under the Stars event will show a variety of Disney Princess movies throughout the week, so bring a blanket and enjoy the film! (Bonus points if you bring a Princess blanket!)
With so many exciting new Princess things to see and do, we can’t wait to channel our inner Rapunzel and make the most of our day in the parks! In the meantime, stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news, announcements, and updates!
