A Times Guide for Every Character Cavalcade in Disney World

Character cavalcades are one of our favorite new things that Disney World has added to the parks since reopening.

We love the surprise element of not knowing which characters we might see next and how they just randomly turn up. And they are just SO much fun! And we’ve even got a new one to look forward to for Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration that starts later this year!

But these cavalcades aren’t ENTIRELY random. In fact, did you know that each cavalcade has a schedule for each day? There is now a way to find out exact times when specific cavalcades will appear.

How? On the My Disney Experience app — just click on the location button at the bottom and choose “Entertainment” under the dropdown and “Show List.” If you filter by “Magic Kingdom,” you get a list that looks like this. Cavalcades are listed under Entertainment now!

Clicking on a Cavalcade gives you times that the particular cavalcade can be seen. In this case, the Goofy Cavalcade can be seen at 10:25AM, 11:35AM, 2:25PM, and 3:35PM. Keep in mind these showtimes may change depending on the day!

Magic Kingdom

A Goofy Cavalcade — 10:25AM, 11:35AM, 2:25PM, and 3:35PM
Magic Kingdom Cavalcade — from 2:05PM to 5:40PM (No exact times listed.)
Mickey & Friends Cavalcade — 10:40AM, 12PM, 2:15PM, 3:55PM, and 5:20PM
A Royal Princess Processional — 11:45AM, 1:50PM, 3PM, and 4:15PM
Tinker Bell & the Lost Treasure — 10:10AM, 11:15AM, 2:35PM, and 3:45PM

EPCOT

EDITOR’S UPDATE — August 2021: Please note that the Princess Promenade, which was the only remaining Character Cavalcade in EPCOT, ended in August 2021.

But, we have good news to share! Several Princesses can be spotted in the World Showcase pavilions, and we’ve provided a list of where we have spotted them here.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There are two cavalcades to be on the lookout for at Hollywood Studios. The first is the Pixar Pals Motorcade, which you can catch at 10:45AM, 11:45AM, 12:45PM, 2:45PM, 4:15PM, and 5:15PM.

The other is the Mickey and Friends Motorcade, which happens at 3:45PM, 4:45PM, 5:45PM, and 6:45PM.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

You’ll be able to see quite a few cavalcades (aka flotillas) at Animal Kingdom on Discovery River. Here are the times:

Discovery Island Drummers Flotilla — from 9:45AM to 4PM (No exact times listed.)
Discovery River Character Cruise — from 9AM to 1PM and 1:45PM to 4:15PM (No exact times listed.)
Donald’s Dino Bash Flotilla — from 9AM to 12:30PM and 1:45PM to 4:00PM (No exact times listed.)
Goofy & Pals Set Sail — from 8:30AM to 11:45PM and 1:15PM to 3:30PM (No exact times listed.)
Mickey and Friends Flotilla — from 10:15AM to 1:30PM and 3PM to 5PM (No exact times listed.)
