It’s an exciting day at Disney World!

Disney’s Polynesian Monorail has reopened!
Although Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort re-opened in July, one thing did not re-open with it — the Monorail. The Monorail at the Polynesian has been under construction since last year as a part of the resort’s overhaul. But we’ve got some good news — as of today, the Monorail at the Polynesian is running again!
We headed to the Polynesian this morning to check out the newly re-opened Monorail station. To enter, guests must pass through a contactless security station.

Time to ride the Monorail again!
Here’s a closer look at the reopened station. You’ll notice plenty of new details, with colorful additions matching the newly constructed exterior to the building.

And boy, were we happy to see the station open and ready for a Monorail to arrive!

And soon enough, a Monorail appeared!

It’s back!
Before today, guests staying at the Polynesian had to find alternate methods of getting to Magic Kingdom, but now the most direct and convenient route from the hotel to the park has returned!

All aboard!
So if you’ve got a stay booked at the Polynesian soon, you’ll have Monorail access directly to Magic Kingdom again.
