Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
Hollywood Studios Merchandise Update
Mickey and Minnie are cute and all, but Jack and Sally are basically the icons of Halloween in the Disney Parks! So, you’ll definitely want to bring these adorable nuIMOs with you as you make your way around the parks this spooky season!
As you get hot and cold running chills during Halloween, you can stay warm in the Gray Plaid Mickey Spirit Jersey with a checkered Mickey on the front…
…checkered print on the sleeves, and the Disney World logo on the back for $74.99.
Once Upon a Time
There are some BIG fans of Wishables in Disney World, because almost all of them have sold out at Once Upon a Time! There are only a few of the new Halloween-themed Wishables left on the shelves, so you’ll want to move fast to grab them for yourself.
Legends of Hollywood
We have to be honest — there are some pretty cool cats in the Disney Universe! And, you can spot the Aristocats, Cheshire, and even Cat Yzma on the new Disney Cat Dooney & Bourke collection rolling out on September 8th! You’ll be able to find these bags at the Legends of Hollywood, as well as other stores around Disney World.
Hollywood Studios Construction Update
FastPasses are quickly disappearing around Disney World as the parks make room for the Lightning Lanes that will be replacing the old system. We’ve seen more Lightning Lane signs pop up in the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, but now Disney’s Hollywood Studios has more too! We spotted the Lightning Lanes at Alien Swirling Saucers…
…Toy Story Mania…
…Tower of Terror…
…Disney Junior Dance Party, and Star Tours!
Rock ‘N Roller Coaster also had its FastPass sign missing, but the Lightning Lane sign has yet to appear!
All the other attractions still have FastPass at this time.
Walt Disney Presents
Well, it could be the end of an era over at Walt Disney Presents! During our last visit, we noticed that the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge exhibit had gone dark. While we aren’t sure if or what might be replacing it, we’ll have to check back again soon!
Hollywood Studios Crowd Update
Labor Day Weekend was a BUSY time in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as plenty of families made their way into the park to celebrate the holiday weekend!
We saw consistent crowds all over the parks throughout the weekends with heavy traffic right as you first entered…
…and continuing through popular spots around Hollywood Studios, like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge…
…and even Toy Story Land!
Many of the attractions sat at higher wait times than we’ve seen in weeks, even stretching to over an hour and a half!
But, we’ll be sure to keep an eye on the crowds and wait times now that Labor Day Weekend has ended!
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We’ll catch you next time with more updates. And, if you have any questions about your upcoming Disney vacation, let us know so we can help you find the answers!
