Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is just around the corner, which means it’s time for Disney to get ready for the big day!
Cinderella Castle has been redecorated for the 50th Anniversary!
With October 1st just weeks away, Disney is getting ready for the celebration with a special guest!
Today we spotted something extra special at the Magic Kingdom: the Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, Josh D’Amaro was filming something for the 50th Anniversary of Disney World! We recently spotted a HUGE stage in the park that was reportedly used for the big special coming to ABC on October 1st, but today there was even more filming.

Josh was nice enough to let us talk to him for a little bit, and mentioned that they were doing some 50th anniversary promo filming.

Josh D’Amaro and the Disney World team have big things planned for the 50th Anniversary of Disney World! From new shows like Disney Enchanted at Magic Kingdom, Harmonious at EPCOT, and KiteTails at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to new rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and even new Food and Wine Festival booths, there’s gonna be a LOT going on on October 1st!
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is set to open on October 1st and is currently providing previews for Annual Passholders and DVC Members
