Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration has been in full swing for almost 3 weeks now!
We’ve eaten a ton of new food (much of it sparkly and blue), checked out new restaurants, watched two new fireworks shows, and so much more. But, the celebrations aren’t just at Disney World. In fact, they’re even in other countries now!
Last week, Brazilian airline Azul Linhas Aéreas revealed a new plane design featuring Mickey Mouse! The launch of this plane coincides with the 50th anniversary celebration in Disney World.
The plane is an Airbus A230neo and it’s the first of four aircraft inspired by Mickey from the airline. The front of the plane even looks like Mickey’s mouth — so cute!
It was revealed at the airline’s hangar in Campinas, Sao Paulo and there was a special appearance from Mickey Mouse himself!
The aircraft is named “Mickey Mouse Nas Nuvens” which translates to “Mickey Mouse in the clouds.” Three other Disney character-inspired aircraft will be revealed by the airline in the upcoming months, and they will fly domestic routes through almost 50 Brazilian airports.
So, if you’re in Brazil soon, make sure to look up to the skies and try and spot the Mickey Mouse-themed plane! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news and updates.

This is really cool for an international plane that’s not southwest to have a disney plane.
