While Blizzard Beach has been open since March 2021, Typhoon Lagoon has remained closed. But now, we finally have an OPENING DATE for Typhoon Lagoon!
Polish up your surfboard and put on your swim trunks, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is reopening on January 2, 2022!Â

According to Disney’s website, Blizzard Beach will be closing for refurbishment as soon as Typhoon Lagoon reopens. The last day of operation for Blizzard Beach is January 1st, 2022.

Typhoon Lagoon water park has not seen any guests since March 2020 when Disney World temporarily shut down due to the pandemic. When it reopens on January 2nd, the operating hours will be from 10AM to 5PM.

There are a TON of things to do at Typhoon Lagoon: you can ride down six different water slides, hang out in the GIANT wave pool, float down the lazy river, or try a snack or two!Â
We’re hoping the iconic Sand Pail dessert returns!
