We just got some BIG news about the upcoming 2022 D23 Expo!
The ultimately Disney fan event will be held in September, and along with lots of exciting new and returning events, there will be exclusive new merchandise! Check out what we know so far.
The 2022 D23 Expo will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California, from September 9th to the 11th. Only D23 Members are eligible to buy tickets, but this includes both paid and free D23 memberships.
There will be exclusive D23 merchandise released at the Expo, and today we got a first look at some of the items that will be available! So far Disney has shared images of t-shirts featuring the D23 Expo artwork, a water bottle noting the start of the 100th anniversary celebrations, a D23 hat, a lanyard, and a limited release pin. We can’t wait to see what else will be released at the event!
Note that during the D23 Expo, D23 Gold Members are set to receive special benefits, including “on-site discounts from select retail locations and a complimentary gift.”
There will be plenty of shopping to do! D23 has shared that “Guests can also enjoy numerous shopping opportunities, many featuring D23 Expo-exclusive collectibles, at an assortment of Disney and partner pop-up shops including the D23 Expo Emporium, where the ultimate Disney fans can find their ultimate treasures.”
2022 D23 Expo tickets will go on sale for D23 Members on January 20th, or D23 Members who are also Visa cardholders can purchase tickets in advance on January 19th for a brief 24-hour pre-sale. Only D23 Gold Members will receive a discount on tickets to the event, as well as access to purchase a special Preferred Seating 3-Day ticket!
