Pineapple Dole Whip is a classic Disney World snack, but pineapple can be a pretty divisive flavor! Luckily, Dole Whip comes in several different varieties, with common flavors and combos including Lime, Coconut, and Raspberry.
We were at EPCOT today and stopped by Refreshment Port for a quick snack, when we noticed a new flavor combination!
Refreshment Port is one of the few places outside of Magic Kingdom where you can enjoy Dole Whip. Today, we spotted Mango Lime Swirl on the menu and we knew we had to give it a try!
For $5.25, you get a decent cup full of either Mango, Lime, or Swirl with a waffle cone on top! You can also order your flavor of choice in a cone. While we’ve tried other Mango swirls and Lime swirls in the past (and a somewhat similar Mango Limeade Swirl at last year’s Flower and Garden Festival), this is the first time we’re trying this exact Mango and Lime Swirl combo!
This is a winning combo in our book! The sweetness of the Mango balances oh so well with the tartness of the Lime. The cone adds a nice crunch if you want it but there wasn’t much there in terms of added flavor.
It has been pretty CHILLY in Disney World this week, so we aren’t sure if this is going to be many people’s snack of choice in the winter — normally when we review Dole Whips we have to move FAST because they usually melt within a matter of minutes, but today, ours didn’t budge!
Check out this new flavor combo on your next trip to EPCOT! In the meantime, be sure to follow along for more snack reviews and an update on the latest news and announcements from Disney World.
