See Disney’s Newest Cruise Ship Hit a Major Milestone

Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, hit water for the first time EVER today, and we’re happy to report that it floats! We’re not boat experts, but we know that’s a pretty essential part of sailing. Although the ‘Wish’ had to delay its maiden voyage, the ship is currently taking reservations, and hitting the water is another milestone in its opening.

Earlier today in Papenberg, Germany, the Disney Wish tested its sea legs. The event was celebrated with fireworks, music, and an appearance by Captain Minnie!

It’s great to see progress on this ship following the delays. The Disney ‘Wish’ is set to embark on its maiden voyage this July, and will feature immersive dining, entertainment, and even Disney’s first attraction at sea!
