The Disney Parks have a rich and interesting history. Walt Disney Imagineering is the part of the Walt Disney Company that develops and builds the Disney theme parks. The Imagineers are an incredible creative force, and we have them to thank for how amazing and detailed the Disney parks are.

Women have often played an integral role in Imagineering, one example being Leota Toombs, the Imagineer who was also the face actress for Madame Leota in the Haunted Mansion! The Disney Parks would not be what they are without these incredible women, and now you can read all about them!

Disney is releasing a new book titled, “Women of Walt Disney Imagineering: 12 Women Reflect on their Trailblazing Theme Park Careers,” and it’s available for preorder now! Each chapter of the book features a different female Imagineer detailing her time and experiences with the Disney Company.
