The Main Street Electrical Parade has officially returned to Disneyland Resort, along with the Disneyland Forever fireworks, and World of Color at Disney California Adventure!

Main Street Electrical Parade
Along with the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade is a brand new electrical parade merchandise collection plus two new collectible items! Disneyland is also rolling out a ton of new food items in celebration of these three nighttime spectaculars returning, so basically, this is a really big deal!
One of the new food items you can find in Disneyland specifically for the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade is the Parade Confetti Bundt Cake at Plaza Inn! This treat costs $5.99, and is a confetti cake with blue sopapilla filling, cream cheese glaze, with decorations for the Main Street Electrical Parade.
We tried this new offering and had 0 complaints! The vanilla cake was spongey and sweet, and the cream cheese added a great sweetness that was balanced out by the refreshing and slightly sweet berry taste from the sopapilla filling. Plus, look just how FUN this one is! You know that feeling when you get to pick up the Funfetti cake mix from the grocery store? This is basically that but you don’t have to make it yourself!

It’s so cute!
Now, there’s nothing super special about this one — it really is very similar to the cake mix that you can get in the stores, but the filling does make it stand out. If you’re not a fan of sweets or cake (we definitely are), then this may not be for you though. Either way, we think this new Main Street Electrical Parade-inspired treat is a great value for its price. It’s not clear exactly how long this sweet treat will be around, so head on over to Plaza Inn soon to be sure you have the chance to give it a try! And, stay tuned to DFB for more of the latest Disney news and snack reviews!
