VIDEO: World of Color Makes Its Return to Disneyland Resort

Slowly but surely, more entertainment offerings are returning to the Disney parks.

Tonight is the official return of the Main Street Electrical Parade and Disneyland Forever at Disneyland Park in California. But, Disneyland isn’t the only park getting some nighttime love. Tonight, a spectacular nighttime show returns to Disney California Adventure Park, and we couldn’t be more excited!

World of Color returns today, April 22nd, 2022, to Disney California Adventure Park!

This extravagant nighttime spectacular is well-loved by many, but had been missing from the park’s schedule since it closed due to the global pandemic.

World of Color

Guests can once again view powerful jets of water illuminated by colorful lights, while iconic Disney scenes and music are projected onto a 19,000 square foot wall of water!

There are two shows each night, at 9PM and 10:15PM, so you’ll have more than one chance to catch this burst of aquatic color each day in Disney California Adventure. Though note that times can change.

Keep in mind that World of Color will be utilizing a virtual queue. If you want to grab a good spot for the show, here’s how the virtual queue works.

The virtual queue is not technically required to see the show. You can also check to see what the walk-up availability is like (it’s on a first-come, first-served basis). But we did notice some heavy crowds for World of Color last night, so keep that in mind if you don’t get a spot in the virtual queue!
