We’ve been seeing some tasty plant-based options pop up around Disney World lately.
Vegetarians (and those who just enjoy good plant-based food) have tons of delicious plant-based items to dig into, like Galactic Vegetable Wraps, Teriyaki Tofu Bowls, Mediterranean Vegetable Sandwiches, and more. And we have to admit….we’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much we’ve enjoyed these options (except for the Plant-Based Bratwurst at Friar’s Nook, that is). So today, we’re trying another Plant-Based Sausage in Disney Springs to see how it compares!
We headed over to B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. at Disney Springs today to try out their Plant-Based Bratwurst Sausage! It comes with Sauerkraut and German Mustard on a Pretzel Roll served with a side of chips. We grabbed one for $11.79 and gave it a taste.
You guys — skip the Plant-Based Bratwurst at Friar’s Nook. You deserve to have this instead. The Pretzel Roll was delicious and much better than the classic hot dog bun. We loved the combination of flavors!
The tangy Mustard paired well with the Sauerkraut, as well as the Plant-Based Sausage. To be honest, the sausage may be the exact same as what they have at Friar’s Nook, but this item was much better due to the other ingredients used. The only point we’ll give to the Bratwurst at Friar’s Nook is the tots that come on the side. Lays chips don’t really compare…but we didn’t order this meal for the chips.
In general, this is a good, hearty snack that we think everyone can enjoy! And it’s great to have another plant-based option available in Disney World.
So, if this sounds good to you, grab it during your next trip to Disney Springs. And for more new additions to Disney Springs, check out what’s new in Disney Springs this week. Or, check out what’s really worth you’re time in Disney Springs.

Seeing as Disney can’t seem to source nor properly cook a a real bratwurst, (looking at you Biergarten!) I have no faith that a plant based version is going to be anything better. Coming from the land of beer, cheese and brats, I have higher expectations.
The BBWolf plant-based bratwurst has been there for a while and besides the irony, it’s a genuinely good sausage on a bun.
