Who doesn’t love meeting their favorite characters in Disney World?
Merida!
Now that traditional character meet and greets and back, they’re more popular than ever. We’ve even seen HUGE standby lines for Mickey and Minnie in Magic Kingdom, while other guests are just thrilled that other character meet and greets have returned to the park. Well, now, guests need to put on their “Brave” faces, because a certain Scottish princess is also meeting guests again!
That’s right! Merida has returned to meet guests again in Magic Kingdom!

Merida was promising the kids she met that she would NOT turn them into bears in the heat. She must be sweltering under that Florida sunshine — we don’t think it gets this warm in the Highlands! But she seemed unfazed and was interacting with everyone.

Merida is currently greeting guests in her previous location at Fairytale Gardens. Right now, she’s only scheduled for two meet and greets per day at 9AM and 1:15PM.

If you want to meet Merida the next time you’re in Disney World, be sure to check the My Disney Experience app — those times could change! If you want to meet other characters, here’s every meet and greet that’s returned so far! Check the app for locations and times!
Want to meet even MORE characters? You might want to consider a character dining experience — just know that those restaurants tend to book up quickly, so be sure to make those advance dining reservations as soon as you can!
