Do you know any special Disney World secrets?
There are secret codes you can use to save money, secret menu items, and even secret ways to get free food! We also like to share some of our own helpful secrets with you so you can plan the best vacation possible. Over the years, we’ve seen a lot of secret menu items around the parks, and there’s another one we want to make sure you know about!
There’s a SECRET dessert over at Rose & Crown Pub in EPCOT! It’s called Christmas Pudding and it’s plant-based — you can get it for $8.
It’s a plant-based chocolate pudding with whipped cream, and there was also some coffee flavors in it. The pudding itself was more like a mousse, but the initial flavor we got was alcohol. We asked Cast Members if this was an alcoholic dessert, and they told us that it wasn’t, but that the cappuccino syrup used to make it has some sort of alcohol extract in it. So, while the flavor of alcohol was present, it is not actually an alcoholic dessert.
The whipped cream on top is more dense than a normal whipped cream that’s made with dairy would be. A lot of times these dairy-free whipped creams are made with coconut, but we didn’t taste any coconut, which was nice!
The textures of this pudding were awesome — it’s really rich and creamy even thought it’s dairy free. It felt luxurious! It was also a very big serving, so you could definitely share it with someone. If you love the flavors of chocolate and coffee together, you’ll probably enjoy this!
This is an excellent choice for a plant-based dessert, or even if you’re not plant-based and are just looking for something indulgent! We also can’t get over how good the whipped cream was — we’d eat that on it’s own, honestly. 😂 And, we’re totally here for Christmas Pudding in September, or any time of year!
