A major change is coming soon to Magic Kingdom for the holiday season!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has been going on for a while now, and this event includes Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. The parade features Mickey and Minnie (of course), lots of iconic Disney characters, and Santa Claus and his reindeer! Usually this parade only runs during the after-hours party, but soon it’ll run during the day as well.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will run at 12PM and again at 3PM in Magic Kingdom from December 23rd through the 31st. It will replace the Festival of Fantasy parade on those days.
If you want to see the parade without paying for the separately ticketed Christmas party, you can head into Magic Kingdom on those days to watch one of the showings.
However, you’ll want to be fast in booking your Park Pass Reservations — Magic Kingdom is already SOLD OUT from December 24th through the 31st, so only the 23rd is left if you wanted to watch the parade during the day. It’s possible that Disney will open up more reservations when we get closer to that time, but there are no guarantees.
UPDATE: Several other Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party offerings are also available during the day for the holiday season! Check out the entire list here.
We’ll keep watching for more updates from Disney, so stay tuned to DFB for all the latest news!
