The Walt Disney Company has gone through some big changes this week!
Former CEO Bob Chapek was replaced with another former CEO Bob Iger, and since then we’ve been keeping up with all the latest news about salaries, Disney stock, and more. There are a lot of questions surrounding this change and what exactly will come next for Disney. It seems as though CEO Bob Iger has noticed, and has plans to do something about it.
Earlier this week, Disney announced that former CEO Bob Iger would take the helm once again after leaving the post back in 2020, and Bob Chapek would no longer serve in the role. The news was shocking and left many — including Disney Cast Members and employees — wondering what might be next for the company.
According to Scott Gustin, it was announced via an internal company memo that Bob Iger will be hosting a Town Hall meeting with employees next week to discuss the future of the company “as we build on Disney’s legacy of creativity, innovation, and inspiration.”
Disney CEO Bob Iger will host an employee Town Hall on Monday (Nov. 28) at 12 pm ET to discuss the future of the company and answer questions “as we build on Disney's legacy of creativity, innovation, and inspiration,” according to a company memo.

Richard J Fournier says
We hope the CEO shakeup will lead to better decisions and changes down the road. Four years ago we returned from a 4 day Disney trip and couldn’t wait to go back. We just returned from our most recent trip two weeks ago and we’re in no rush to go back unless changes are made. Too many people in the park, having to wake up early to pay for a Genie+ that you pretty much need if you have kids and want a chance at one of the better rides, obscene surge pricing on top of that, prices on most of the food that makes our nationwide inflation problem seem tame. We felt terrible for some of the families we saw standing in 1-2 hour lines or laying out a minimum of $50 for a small snack and drink. We don’t mind paying a premium for what has historically been a premium product and experience, but we think a line has been crossed for us and many others.
