We know a thing or two about eating our way around Disney World — and that means we know just how quickly those meals can add up!
Splurging on an expensive table service meal is nice on occasion, but what if you’re looking for a cheaper way to hack your favorite Disney World snacks? Lucky for you, we’re experts, so we’ve rounded up all the Disney snack hacks you can still get for just $1!
Cheddar Cheese Sauce
It ain’t easy being cheesy — unless you’re us at pretty much all times when we’re in Disney World. Listen, for just $1 you can add a cup of ooey, gooey, probably-not-totally-real plastic cheese to any snack you want at several quick service spots throughout the parks. Mickey pretzel? Add some cheese. French fries? Add some cheese. Corn dog nuggets from Casey’s Corner? We’re absolutely adding cheese.
Think of it like concession stand nacho cheese you’d get at a baseball game or something! We love this golden deliciousness so much, we affectionately refer to it as “plastic cheese.”

Queso
What’s that? You wanted a cheese upgrade for your cheese upgrade? At Pecos Bills in Magic Kingdom and La Cantina de San Angel in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion, you can get a side of queso for $1 too.
It’s more of a queso blanco and has a bit more flavor than the plastic cheese — but we haven’t found it to be overly spicy or anything!

Chocolate Sauce
For those of you who are looking for a sweeter snack for just $1, grab a side of chocolate sauce for your Mickey pretzel or churro! You can find sides of warm chocolatey goodness most popcorn and churro stands throughout the parks.
This can be a great way to get two snacks in one — grab a pretzel, some chocolate sauce, and plastic cheese, and you can have a little bit of sweet and savory!

Cup of Frosting
Our next $1 snack comes from Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs! Okay, it’s technically a $1.50 snack, but we’ll take what we can get. When we’ve visited in the past, they’ve had both peanut butter and vanilla frosting available to buy.
At $1.50, you can’t beat this tub of sweetness — and what you do with it is your business. Dip your cookies in it, your pretzels, take it home and eat it with a spoon when no one is watching…live your best life, people!!

Grilled Cheese Donut (With Bacon!!!)
If you’re into sweet and savory combos, this next one is for you. Over at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew in Disney Springs, you can order a grilled cheese sandwich. But, for $1 more — you can get it on DONUT BUNS. Yes, you read that correctly. Donut buns.
And honestly, why stop there? For another $1 you can add bacon to the sandwich. We’d maybe consider taking a nap after you eat this, though — it’s that good.
