Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C has officially opened — and now that it IS open, some new restaurants are headed that way!
We already knew about a new location by the owners of The Polite Pig in the airport, and we recently got details about the new Wine Bar George location that has opened there! But now we have a NEW look at Chef Art Smith’s Sunshine Diner!
Chef Art Smith is the owner of a VERY popular Disney Springs restaurant — Homecomin’ — so we expect that many people are excited about the new spot Chef Art Smith is opening up at the airport — Sunshine Diner. Orlando International Airport has recently shared some photos of what the diner looks like! It seems to match up pretty well with the concept art we saw earlier.
The Sunshine Diner has a classic American diner vibe but features an elevated menu that is way more than just burgers, fries, and shakes.
Chef Art Smith shared that the “modern day diner” menu features a “full bar, fresh fruit, and key lime pie,” among other things, with a focus on healthier options, including some plant-based menu items.
The location also features some grab-and-go options, too!
If you happen to find yourself in Terminal C at the airport, be sure to check it out. You’ll find it between Gates C230-C239. The Orlando International Airport lists the hours as 5AM to the last departing flight.
Not going to be anywhere near Terminal C? Well, Orlando International Airport also shared that some upgrades are coming for Terminals A and B soon, so stay tuned for more details.
