A Disney Springs store is CLOSING, and it’s closing soon!
Disney Springs has seen a lot of changes over the years — from the transformation of Downtown Disney to Disney Springs, the announcement of new restaurants, and the arrival of new stores. And soon it looks like more changes will be taking place in this shopping and dining district.
Sosa Family Cigars (located in the West Side of Disney Springs) has been in the industry for over 70 years and typically features over 80 cigar brands, including some hard-to-find ones. The cigars are kept fresh in a solid cedar humidor room and guests could stop by to check out the variety of boxes and accessories for sale.
The Disney World website for Sosa Family Cigars is still active, but we were able to speak with a Disney World Cast Member who confirmed that Sosa Family Cigars will be CLOSING soon in Disney Springs. According to the Cast Member we spoke to, the final day for Sosa Family Cigars will be January 2nd.
So if this was a store you had wanted to explore, be sure to check it out before it’s gone! RIP to one of the only original stores left at Disney Springs.

Maybe bring back the magic store?

Can’t believe it lasted as long as it did. Seemed so out of place. Yes, magic shop would be fun. Empty space would be about right. Really miss the “art” store that was on the other side of AMC.

It is about time. What a non-family place! Not to mention the horrible smell while walking past it. As a person with Asthma I had to try to avoid the store front; They always had the door open! It was awful. I hate to see any store close, especially small businesses; but perhaps something healthier can replace it.

Last year when in DS, was in the sports shop next door. Really noticed the cigar smell in there!
