We just got huge entertainment news for EPCOT and Magic Kingdom nighttime spectaculars, and recently the Internet burst into chaos when Disney tweeted a potential teaser for the opening date of TRON Lightcycle Run. We had a few theories about what the cryptic video meant, but we don’t need to theorize any longer — WE HAVE AN OFFICIAL OPENING DATE FOR TRON LIGHTCYCLE RUN!
TRON Lightcycle Run will officially open in Magic Kingdom on April 4th, 2023!

We weren’t sure what Disney’s secret message meant when they teased it, but now we know exactly what it meant — guests will finally be able to experience TRON Lightcycle Run in just a few short months.

Disney shared, “The story of TRON Lightcycle / Run picks up after “TRON: Legacy” where Kevin’s son, Sam Flynn, has opened a second gateway into a digital realm called the Grid. The first of these portals he created is found at Shanghai Disneyland with the original TRON Lightcycle Power Run. When you enter the queue at Magic Kingdom, you’ll feel as if you’re digitized and transported to the Grid for a special Lightcycle race.”

Team Blue will face Team Orange as you race through “Energy Gates” and lead your team to victory. TRON will be one of the fastest coasters at any Disney theme park in the world! Cast Members will get to be the first to “enter the Grid” during special previews.

Is the height requirement defined / published yet?
Did Disney officially say April 4th, or is that date from an interpretation of the coded message?
From what I’m reading, here is how the codes were interpreted:
#2 high score: us 13,212,023 <– Add 3+1 = 4/21/2023 for opening date.
Farther down the list is:
#10: CM 04,482,023 <– CM stands for Cast Member with a date range of April 4-8, 2023 for cast member preview.
And let the shutdowns begin because of mechanical problems!
