Sure, you’ve heard about hidden Mickeys, but what about hidden…FIGMENTS?!

If you’re ALL about this beloved purple dragon, then it’s time to hop on over to EPCOT. The Festival of the Arts is going on now through February 20th, 2023, and while you can enjoy lots of food and entertainment, there’s a unique activity Figment fans can’t miss.

Search for Figgy!

During the Festival of the Arts, you can participate in a special activity called Figment’s Brush with the Masters. Essentially, this is a scavenger hunt throughout World Showcase where you’ll be searching for Figments that have been hidden in famous works of art.

You can search for the Figments for free (just for fun), but if you want a PRIZE for your scavenger hunt efforts, you’ll need to pick up a map!

Time to Search!

Maps can be purchased for $9.99 (plus tax) at Creations Shop, Port of Entry, and World Traveler. Your map will come with stickers to fill it out. Once you’ve got your supplies, it’s time to get searching! You’ll find Figment hidden inside art inspired by famous works at each pavilion in World Showcase.

Need help finding the artwork? Search for the Figment-themed picture frame — that’ll let you know you’ve found the right spot! Each time you find Figment, place the corresponding sticker on the pavilion in your map. We won’t give away all of his hiding spaces so you can go find him on your own!

A PRIZE!

Once you’ve completed your search, take your filled-out map to Disney Traders or World Traveler to pick up a prize! In 2022, the prize was a paint-your-own figure of either Figment, Minnie, Mickey, or Daisy.

This year, the prize appears to be very similar. You can pick from a selection of character figures to take home and paint — we got the Minnie Mouse version!

Overall, the activity is a relatively cheap and fun way to keep kiddos and adults entertained throughout the day in EPCOT. Plus, it might bring you to places in the pavilions you wouldn’t have otherwise explored!
