Are you ready to return to the Grid?

@D23
AMC Theaters at Disney Springs and D23 (the Disney fan club) have teamed up to invite guests for the ultimate TRON experience! Will you be taking advantage of this exclusive event?
Walt Disney World’s highly anticipated TRON Lightcycle/Run attraction is opening SOON, and the AMC theater at Disney Springs has decided to celebrate a bit early. D23 will host a special event that will give guests the chance to re-experience the film that inspired this incredible coaster.

It’s a short ride!
It’s been a few years since TRON: Legacy was released in theaters — it came out in 2010 — but on March 19th, 2023, D23 members can return to the grid. “Users” (yes, just like what people are called in the movie) are promised to be treated to a special screening of TRON: Legacy at the AMC Theater at Disney Springs. There will be options for 2D and 3D screenings.

Before you step into the games
Here’s what you need to know before you go! You’ll need to register because seating will be limited. This is a one-day back-to-theater release, and once they’re sold out of space then it’s “game over” for you.
You’ll register by using a special link based on your D23 membership status — D23 General Members must pay $30 (+$5 Processing Fee) per ticket and D23 Gold Members must pay $20 (+$3 Processing Fee) per ticket. Preorders for tickets will go on sale Thursday, February 16th, at 10AM PT / 1PM ET in the provided links — 2D screening tickets can be purchased here and 3D screening tickets can be purchased here.

Both D23 Gold and General Members will have their choice of two screenings (either 2D starting at 11AM ET or 3D starting at 10:30AM ET) and both screenings will feature the same pre-show presentation and event offerings. Here’s a look at what’s included with a limited-release viewing: an exclusive screening of TRON: Legacy kicked off with a special pre-show presentation, an event-exclusive postcard featuring art from TRON Lightcycle / Run created by Walt Disney Imagineering, one medium-sized fountain beverage at AMC Disney Springs, and one medium-sized popcorn at AMC Disney Springs.

Guests attending the event will be able to check in one hour prior to their screening’s start time. Tickets are limited to 4 per D23 member. D23 members will be required to provide their membership number and the names of the guests attending at the time of reserving tickets. It’s also important to remember to bring your D23 membership card and tickets or you may not be admitted to the event (membership card may be a physical card or digital membership card found in the D23 app). Ticket-purchasing D23 members must be present for their guests to gain entry to the event and all guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to attend this D23 event and will require an event ticket for admission.

It’s good to keep in mind that sometimes things change and all D23 events are subject to change without notice. There are strictly no cancellations or refunds, and tickets are not transferable.
