TRON Lightcycle / Run is already proving to be a popular ride!
It won’t open officially until April 4th, 2023, but in the meantime Cast Members, Disney Vacation Club Members, D23 Gold Members, and Annual Passholders all get the chance to preview it. The registration link for Passholder previews went LIVE this morning, but now we’ve got an important update.
Within just a few hours, ALL of the previews of TRON for Annual Passholders have SOLD OUT. When we followed the registration link around 12:45PM ET, it provided us with a message indicating that the event was FULL. Disney recommends that Passholders continue to check their inboxes for information about future experiences.
Perhaps this comes as no surprise given the limited number of dates made available for Passholder previews.
If you missed this registration, then it might be time to start planning that April trip to Disney World so you can hop on TRON as soon as it opens to the general public. Remember that there will NOT be a “regular” standby line for the ride — only a virtual queue. Disney will also offer an Individual Lightning Lane (pay-per-ride) option for TRON so you could pay to SKIP the lines if you want.
We’ll keep an eye out for more details about TRON and let you know what we find.

Refreshed my email at 9 am this morning obsessively until it came up, clicked on the email and waited three hours. When it was finally my turn, every time I clicked on said “not available” and then the “event full” popped up. Crazy.
