If you’re heading to Disney World today, we’ve got an update on potential traffic delays that could impact your trip.
For those driving to the parks, a fatal crash has caused traffic to back up near Disney World.
A fatal car crash was blocking a significant portion of a main road in Osceola County, near Disney World.
According to News 6 Orlando, the crash happened Wednesday morning on US 192 at Griffin Road, and all eastbound and westbound lanes of US 192 were closed in that area.
Drivers on the east side of the wreck were being told to use Sherberth Road to Osceola Parkway as an alternative route. This crash has caused delays and backups due to the major roadblock, so we’d recommend using your GPS and keeping an eye out for any traffic that could impact your journey to the parks.
The road reopened around 9:30AM, but this is something to be prepared for when driving to Disney World as you might run into traffic for a number of reasons.
Remember to try to be flexible on your Disney trip, because sometimes even in Disney World things might not go according to plan.
