If you’re visiting Hollywood Studios soon, there are BIG things you need to know about.

A virtual queue will be used as part of a May the 4th shopping event, and special snacks (and a souvenir sipper!) are coming as part of the celebration. But now Disney has announced some more things for you to experience in the park.

Disney has announced that they’ll be debuting some NEW photo opportunities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios starting May 4th, 2023! Don’t stress if you won’t be in the park on May the 4th, though. Disney has shared that these will stick around until “after the celebration ends.” So just what can you expect? Let’s break it down!

1 — Holopuck Magic Shots

First up, there will be a holopuck Magic Shot that’ll “reveal the details of your next target.” (This is similar to one we’ve seen offered in the past before.)

Who will YOU be hunting for?! Based on the images Disney shared, there are a few different options that could pop up in your photo.

2 — BB-8 Magic Shot

You’ll also find a BB-8 Magic Shot and it looks like this one will be near the Millennium Falcon.

We really enjoy that BB-8 is in the hilarious “thumbs up” pose!

3 — Darksaber

Ready to channel your inner Mandalorian/Jedi? Pick up the Darksaber and unite Mandalorians everywhere!

Starting May 4th, you’ll be able to find the Darksaber blade across from Oga’s Cantina for a special photo op after dark.

4 — BD-1 Magic Shot

Another Magic Shot will place a droid in your photo, but this time its BD-1!

Fans will recognize this as the droid character from the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

On the App! — Armorer’s Forge Lens

And finally, if you want to celebrate things the Mandalorian way, check out this special PhotoPass Lens on the My Disney Experience app. It’ll let you pick your own Mandalorian armor.

The lens will be available for EVERYONE to check out for free from May 4th through May 11th. Then, starting May 12th, it’ll only be available to Annual Passholders or those who buy the Disney Genie+ service.
