Behind-the-Scenes Look at Disney’s NEW ‘Coco’ Restaurant

Disneyland Paris has so many exciting things coming to the park soon.

We’ve seen the reimagining of a new restaurant, and there’s a whole new Frozen land on the way soon. One of the things we’re most excited about is the new Coco restaurant that’s coming to the park, and now we’ve got a new look at the new spot!

Disney has recently released some new photos and a video showing the behind-the-scenes process for creating the new Coco-themed restaurant, which used to be Fuente Del Or. This new Coco restaurant, called Casa de Coco – Restaurante de Familia, is said to showcase “Miguel’s passion for music and love for his family.”

Behind the scenes, Disney is hard at work to bring Coco to life inside the restaurant by creating over 50 props in their central workshops to be placed inside the restaurant. You’ll be able to see things like Miguel’s guitar, the tools used to make traditional shoes, and other decorations to showcase Miguel’s family heritage.

In a video, Imagineers at Disneyland Paris explained that there are a couple of different rooms in the restaurant.

The Family Room has details about the family’s history and heritage, including nods to their shoemaking business.

There’s also a music room that highlights Miguel’s love of music!

There will be lots of props in that room, including a reproduction of Miguel’s guitar, complete with all the details from the movie.
