BREAKING: Opening Date Announced for Disney’s NEW ‘Frozen’ Land

We have some EXCITING news to share, and we simply cannot wait to let it go!

We’ve been sharing updates on the NEW World of Frozen coming to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort for several months. Disney has given us previews of the new attractions and glimpses at the land, but now we’ve got an EXCITING update.

Disney announced that World of Frozen will open at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort on November 20th, 2023. That’s just a few months away! This will be the first Frozen-themed land EVER.

The land will feature the Frozen Ever After attraction that many Disney fans may recognize from Disney World’s EPCOT Norway Pavilion.

But there will also be a brand-new attraction coming to Hong Kong Disneyland called Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. It’s a roller coaster-style attraction, and you can see a preview of the ride in this concept art! According to Disney, the ride was “built” by Wandering Oaken himself and is powered with the help of Olaf and Sven.

In addition to the new attraction, this land will also feature some of the beloved characters from Frozen, plus a fully immersive experience where guests can celebrate Summer Snow Day in Arendelle. If you’re wondering, Summer Snow Day is a special Arendelle celebration that commemorates the day that Anna saved Elsa with an act of true love.

Look out for a new Frozen-inspired restaurant, too! Disney previously shared that the Golden Crocus Inn will be a new spot to dine in World of Frozen, featuring “delicious and diverse cuisine.”

Based on the concept art, we can expect some Frozen-themed shopping opportunities at Tick Tock Toys, which is a shop owned by a wood carver and his wife. Here, you’ll be able to find all kinds of souvenirs! Oh, and if you’re looking for something sweet to eat, you can visit Northern Delights.

Clearly, this is a HUGE expansion! In addition to the new dining, shopping, and attractions at World of Frozen, there will also be a Playhouse in the Woods, where little ones can enjoy a unique interactive play experience.
