We’ve got some HUGE news about the future of D23!

We’re reporting LIVE from the biggest Disney fan event of the year, Destination D23 in Disney World, and we learned a LOT about what’s to come. So far, we’ve been soaking in every moment at this year’s event, but it seems like Disney is already looking forward to the NEXT D23 celebration. 

Disney revealed some big news about the future of D23. In fact, some of the 2024 D23 events will take place in a stadium! Talk about a BIG move! And the event has a new name to go along with the other major changes. Instead of the usual “D23 Expo” name, next year’s event is being called “D23 The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.”

Excited yet? Well, you better mark your calendars now — the 2024 D23 event will take place from August 8th-11th in Anaheim, California. Keep in mind that Disney’s D23 events tend to sell out VERY quickly, so it never hurts to start planning early!

Inside D23

Disney announced that next year’s D23 event will include spectacular shows, new venues, and multiple days of entertainment. That’s everything including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more!

The D23 kickoff celebration will take place at Disneyland Resort on August 8th, 2024. Then, there will be plenty of shopping, exhibits, panels, presentations, and more from August 9th through 11th at the Anaheim Convention Center during the day.

In the evening, the marquee shows will take place in the Honda Center, an indoor arena that’s home to the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL!
