Many Disney fans would say that getting to Magic Kingdom is one of the hardest transportation challenges.
Why is that, you ask? Well, you can’t park, take a bus, ferryboat, monorail, or a rideshare straight to Magic Kingdom, you have to pass through the TTC (Transportation & Ticket Center). Needless to say, we go to the TTC a lot, and we noticed a small change today that we LOVE.
Magic Kingdom is the only Disney World park that doesn’t allow you to park right in front of the park entrance because Walt Disney wanted to keep Magic Kingdom as an oasis away from the rest of the world. He didn’t want guests looking out from the park to see a sea of cars and the highway beyond. Bad show!
While we were walking through the TTC recently, we noticed that there’s a new drop-off loop for rideshare drop-offs and guests taking buses from select hotels like the Four Seasons and Shades of Green, which makes things much safer for everyone involved.
The new loop allows rideshare vehicles to drop off their guests and make a complete loop without impeding on the path of guests getting off the buses. It also means that those getting out of rideshares can safely cross to security at the TTC as well!
While this may not seem like a big change, safety is always important, especially in Disney.
