The best part about the Disney World hotels is that they offer so much more than a place to sleep at the end of a long day in the theme parks.
These hotels boast great theming, pools, cafes and coffee shops, gift shops that rival the ones in the parks, and of course — great restaurants. The convenience of having numerous dining options available in the hotels is awesome, and it’s a great way to fuel before or after a big Disney day. While many of the restaurants located in the theme parks are pretty casual and allow you to wear your theme park attire, the restaurants in the hotels are a bit fancier and sometimes have dress codes. This usually confuses some folks, as they aren’t sure how to go about switching into a nicer outfit in the middle of their park day. That’s where we come in! We’re here to tell you all you need to know about Disney World restaurants so that you can better prepare.
Ale & Compass is a fan-favorite choice for many Disney World visitors, as it serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Located at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, it’s just a short walk away from EPCOT as well as the Skyliner, which can take you to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. So, this eatery offers a great option for those hoping to refuel after a day at either of those parks or for those who are staying at Yacht Club.
Ale & Compass provides New England comfort food as well as some seafood dishes in a coastal-inspired environment. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you can expect to spend $15 to $34.99 per adult.
Although this one is located at a Deluxe Resort, Ale & Compass is not considered to be a Disney Signature Dining restaurant, which are the restaurants that usually have a specific dress code. Per the Disney World website, Ale & Compass features a casual dining experience.
So, what does this mean? Well, it means that you’re good to arrive in your theme park attire! Athletic wear, T-shirts, tennis shoes, Minnie Ears, the whole nine yards. As long as you don’t show up in swimwear or your jammies, you’ll be fine.
We’ll continue to keep you updated with more Disney news and advice, including what to wear to various settings at Disney World. Make sure to follow along for more so that you never miss a thing and are always in the loop.
