Get READY — one of the BIGGEST Disney events of the year is happening this summer. No, we’re not talking about the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival. We’re not talking about any big anniversaries or celebrations. We’re talking about D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.Â

Destination D23
Disney’s D23 events are known to attract Disney fans from all over the place! Wanna know the best part? Disney often drops some MAJOR news bombs at these events. Last year, we found out that a Magic Kingdom expansion is in the works! If that got your attention, buckle up. Disney just announced NEW details on the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.Â
This year, D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will take place in Anaheim, California. The event runs from August 9th to 11th, 2024, and tickets will go on sale on March 26th, 2024. Mark your calendars NOW!

If you’re interested, you might want to start clearing your schedule on March 26th. These events tend to sell out fast — and we mean FAST. Disney has not released any details on the pricing or pre-sale information, so stay tuned for updates.

Even if you don’t have plans to visit the event in person, you can still participate this year! Some parts of the D23 event will be streamed on Disney+, including the Disney Legends ceremony, according to Deadline. You may remember that last year, Disney streamed portions of Destination D23 on social media, so this is a CHANGE for 2024. Disney also announced that this year’s D23 event will have a new interactive app, as well as musical performances, an amazing shopping experience, and special presentations. We can’t wait to lean more.

Destination D23
Oh, and Disney also just announced that D23 will soon head to São Paulo, Brazil. This November will mark the FIRST time that a D23 fan event will happen in Latin America.

Country Bear Jamboree is getting an upgrade!
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for March 26th to get those tickets before they sell out! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
