People come to this next food studio at the Festival of the Arts because it’s Encanto-themed, and who can resist that? But they STAY because of the super tasty eats and drinks.
Can you believe it’s already time for the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Arts?! We’re running all over EPCOT today, tasting fantastic food, buying souvenirs, and watching incredible artistic performances. Yep, it’s a lot. But don’t worry! We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to one spot in particular — the Vibrante & Vívido Encanto Cocina — to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out!
Menu
Over at the Vibrante & Vívido Encanto Cocina, you’ll find a variety of available items, including mostly returning eats and drinks with one brand-new dessert!
Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!
Eats
First up, we grabbed the Chorizo and Potato Empanada with turmeric aïoli and annatto aïoli, which is returning from last year. This is also a Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine Item! You can grab it for $6.75, and it’s also DDP Snack Eligible. In 2023, we really enjoyed the kick of spice that this snack brought! But how does it compare in 2024?
This is going to make our Best of the Fest list, hands down. We noticed a lot of folks talking about the Empanada and now that we’ve had it, we GET IT. It’s beautiful. It’s also filled with so much chorizo that it could be the kind of snack that would hold you over until you can get a full meal. Be warned, though — that chorizo packs some heat. It’s pretty spicy, so keep that in mind. We saw a lot of people surprised that it was so spicy.
Next up is the NEW menu item: the Passion Fruit-filled Mango Cheesecake with coconut-pineapple cake, dragon fruit gelée, and dragon fruit-strawberry sauce. This treat costs $5 and is DDP Snack Eligible, too. Okay, so as you can see, this LOOKS like art.
It also tastes like art, which is pretty much what this festival is about! The passionfruit curd in the middle is very tart and works great with the milder mango cheesecake. We will warn you that it’s VERY tart, so keep that in mind. The dragonfruit adds an exotic flavor to the overall blend of flavors. This is the kind of thing you want to eat on a hot Florida day.
That’s it for food, so let’s check out the drinks!
Drinks
In terms of drinks at this booth, we got the Frozen Piña Colada for $14.50. We had this drink in 2023 and thought it had a great, strong coconut flavor without being too sweet. This year, we found this to be just a solid and classic Piña Colada. We also loved that it had chunks of pineapple in it — that just made it so satisfying.
Next up is the Passion Fruit Daiquiri for $14.50. This drink is a LOT like our beloved POG juice, although it’s missing the tartness of the orange flavor in POG, but still, we LOVED this.
We thought both of these drinks were excellent and two of our favorites we’ve had at the festival yet. They’re both such perfect frozen slushy drinks that make you feel like you’re sitting on a beach on a tropical island somewhere.
The last drink on the menu is the Coconut and Passion Fruit Smoothie (non-alcoholic), which is $5 and DDP Snack Eligible.

Coconut and Passion Fruit Smoothie
Last year we enjoyed this drink, though we felt that the balance of coconut and passion fruit was just a little bit off and leaned heavier into the passion fruit.
OVERALL
Although this booth doesn’t have a LOT of offerings, everything being offered here is hands-down amazing and this might just be our favorite booth of the festival. The drinks were spot-on. The dessert was incredible — and a great example of the kind of food we expect at the Festival of the Arts. The Empanada is already the talk of the town. This one is a winner, in every way.
That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!
