Just when you think you’re starting to get into a new series — BAM! Canceled.
It’s happening quite a bit lately, especially with Disney shows. We’ve seen series after series canceled on ABC, Disney+, and even Disney Channel, and now, another show is joining that list.
Deadline has reported that Secrets of Sulphur Springs has been canceled. The Disney Channel series ran for three seasons, but will not be picked up for a fourth.
Secrets of Sulphur Springs was created, written, and executive produced by Tracey Thomson and followed 12-year-old Griffin Campbell, played by Preston Oliver, whose world is upended when his father, Ben (Josh Braaten) moves his family in order to take over an abandoned hotel. Griffin soon learns that the hotel is reportedly haunted, and appropriate chaos ensues.
This is the second Disney Channel series that has been canceled in a month. In December, we reported that Bunk’d would be ending with its seventh season. The shows join a long list of series that have been canceled by Disney over the past year.

Not a smart move, when you keep canceling the target audience favorite shows. Especially when they are your companies near future subscribers and cash cows for your theme parks and cruise ships.
