Something exciting is coming to Central Florida in 2025…a brand-new theme park!
We’ve been monitoring the construction of Universal Epic Universe and looking out for hidden details about what is to come, and we are pumped! With new lands, attractions, dining offerings, and more, there’s going to be a lot to explore when the park officially opens next year. And if you’re eager to soak up all the information, we’ve got a sneak peek at some ride vehicles!
Universal Orlando shared a look behind the scenes at construction for the new How to Train Your Dragon-themed land on Instagram. The stories included videos of team members working on one of the new attractions — Dragon Racer’s Rally.
The attraction is meant to “train” you to ride a dragon, and the seats feature over-the-shoulder restraints. The arms holding the seats will lift up and swing around, sending you on an epic flight. The ride is designed with a Viking-made aesthetic with wood accents and hand-painted details.
Based on the concept art, it looks like each of the seats will be designed to mimic a dragon, complete with wings on the sides.
Universal also shared a glimpse of the team members in front of the portal to How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk. Work on the land’s main icon seems to be coming along, and we can’t wait to check it out in 2025!
We’ll keep you in the loop with any more Epic Universe updates, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest.
