There’s a NEW Character Meet-and-Greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Walt Disney World is feeling more JOYful!

Who do you think is in Hollywood Studios?

If you love Pixar’s Inside Out, then you will likely enJOY this news! A new character meet-and-greet has appeared at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we’re so happy to see her. She is likely to bring a giant smile to your face and unlock some core memories.

Located in the small Pixar area – – formerly Pixar Place – – near Toy Story Land, you can meet Joy! The meet & greet has taken over the former location where you could previously meet with Frozone from The Incredibles franchise.

The area has been refreshed with a bright and colorful paint scheme, with large painted circles reminiscent of the memory balls and core memories in Inside Out.

Joy drew a big crowd.

Joy can be found at regularly scheduled times throughout the day. This new meet-and-greet — she used to be available for a meet-and-greet over at EPCOT — is part of the promotion for the highly-anticipated new Pixar sequel Inside Out 2.

The film is scheduled to debut in theaters on June 14th, and “returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone.”

Inside Out 2 features Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis Black returning as Joy, Sadness, and Anger respectively, while Tony Hale and Liza Lapira replace Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling as Fear and Disgust respectively. New additions to the cast include Maya Hawke as Anxiety, Ayo Edebiri as Envy, Adele Exarchopoulos as Ennui, and Paul Walter Hauser as Embarrassment.
