NEWS: Universal Announces Epic Universe Previews for Passholders

There has been so much Epic Universe news, and it is getting us so excited to be able to visit this new park!

It was just announced last week that Epic Universe would officially open on May 22nd, 2025. Plus, tickets, vacation packages, and bookings are open for the Grand Helios Hotel today, and demand is high as the website had to pause bookings for vacation packages earlier in the day due to the demand. If you want to experience this new park, the only way to do so is by purchasing multi-day tickets or a vacation package. But that is not the case for Universal Annual Passholders, and Universal recently hinted at a perk that only passholders will be able to take advantage of.

It was previously announced that passholders would be able to buy single-day tickets for Epic Universe starting on October 24th, which is only two days away! This is a huge perk as single-day tickets are not available to the general public. If you are interested in a single-day ticket option, your best bet for now would be to purchase an annual pass.

But today, Universal hinted at something else for passholders! When a new attraction, land, or, in this case, an entire theme park opens, both Universal and Disney World offers previews before a new offering opens to the public.

Universal Annual Passholders should look out for information regarding soft opening previews in the coming months. These previews will give passholders the opportunity to be part of the first group to experience this brand-new park! You can read Universal’s announcement below.

It is interesting how Universal did not make this a big announcement and instead hid it within the information regarding single-day tickets for pass holders.

We will continue to watch for when these soft opening previews will be available to reserve and when they will take place. Until then, we are only about seven months away from Epic Universe opening, and we can’t wait to explore all it has to offer!
