Being a Disney World Annual Passholder comes with its share of perks, the biggest being able to visit the theme parks multiple times throughout the year we hold the pass for.
We also get discounts on a lot of merchandise and food in Disney World PLUS early previews of rides, special lounges, free gifts, exclusive merchandise, and more. But we’re just going to tell you now — there are some OTHER perks we would really like to see for Disney World Passholders in 2025. Yes, we have opinions, people!
So here are the things we’d like to see for Disney World Annual Passholders this year.
Free MagicBands
MagicBands actually used to be free for a LOT of folks, and then MagicBand+ came along and took over pretty much everything and we never actually got free MagicBands again, only discounted MagicBands. Well, Annual Passholders are probably more likely to use MagicBands more often than any other visitor to Disney World, so free MagicBands would be SO nice.
In fact, Annual Passholders should get a new MagicBand every time they renew their Annual Pass. Maybe those free MagicBands could include exclusive designs just for Passholders (yes, we know you can pay for AP MagicBands, too).

Free Extra Hours Events in the Parks
Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members get access to something called Moonlight Magic, special FREE after hours events just for members. Right now, there’s nothing like this for Annual Passholders, but we think there should be.
We’d love a few nights a year set aside for an After Hours Annual Passholder Event where we can enter a park and get everything DVC members get during Moonlight Magic. That includes special characters, special snacks, special entertainment, and more.

Discounts on Festival Food
Okay, so Annual Passholders can get discounts on a LOT of food in Disney World, but that doesn’t include EPCOT festival food, and that is SO not fair. Even if it’s a small discount, it would make a huge difference for Passholders and make that Pass that much more valuable.
Or even better yet, Disney could do something like the Sip and Savor pass that we see for Disneyland festivals but offer it to Passholders for free. So each Passholder could pick up a festival pass that includes, say five free festival items.
The New Problem That’s Suddenly Plaguing Disney World Annual Passholders
Early Access to New Lands
When Toy Story Land first opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Annual Passholders got to be among the first to see the new land. We would love for that to be an option for some of the new lands coming to Disney World, especially now that new lands are coming to Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom (although none of these are expected to open in 2025).
We would also like early access to some of the entertainment that will be opening in Disney World this year, like the new Zootopia show in Animal Kingdom, the nighttime parade coming to Magic Kingdom, and the Villains-themed show coming to Hollywood Studios.

Stop increasing the price by 20% every year
But they won’t, and that’s why we’re not passholders or Disney guests anymore.
I totally agree. They do not appreciate the passholders enough, if any.
