When we’re at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there’s one place we can always count on for a fun show, no line, and ice-cold air conditioning: Vacation Fun – An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie.

But Disney just put a wrench in our plans because Vacation Fun – An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie is closing for the second time this year!

Hollywood Studios is already home to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, and even though Muppets Courtyard has been destroyed to welcome Monstropolis, Hollywood Studios still feels very Muppet-esque. Well, now it’s going to be a little bit more Muppet-y for a limited time.
Bad news, Annual Passholders: Disney is set to eliminate some major perks as soon as the calendar turns to August.

Disney launched the 2026 edition of the V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days event on May 1st. This “summer celebration” offers limited-time offerings and perks just for Passholders across the resort, including merchandise, spaces, and big savings on dining! However, all of that is about to disappear on July 31st!

Right now (for a limited time), if you’re a Passholder, you get access to a special discount on the Disney Store website that can be used on HUNDREDS of different items. There are toys, apparel, accessories, and so much more. This specific discount only lasts through June 21st, though, so you’ll want to shop FAST! We’ve looked through it all and have some of the best deals (and some of our favorites) highlighted for you below, to save you some time!

Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is undergoing a lot of construction for upcoming projects. Monstropolis is progressing rapidly, and we’re getting ready for the opening of both the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets and the Walt Disney Studios. Disney announced that Annual Passholder previews are coming for The Muppets rollercoaster, and the virtual queue is coming with it.
A new version of a popular ride is coming to EPCOT, and it’s opening soon!

Soarin’ Across America is set to open in EPCOT on May 26th. This ride pays homage to the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America, and it features scenes from across the USA. But before it opens to the public, you may get a chance to preview the ride!
