OMG! Disney just released new details on the new show coming to Disney Cruise Line, and we’ve never seen anything quite like it.

The Disney Destiny, Disney’s new heroes and villains-themed cruise ship, will set sail later this year. Wait until you see the details of this spectacular show.

“Disney Hercules” is the new Broadway-style stage show coming to the Disney Destiny.

There will be fan favorite songs like “Go the Distance,” “Zero to Hero,” and “I Won’t Say I’m in Love,” and they will have live renditions with new musical arrangements inspired by “the soulfulness of gospel music with the energy of a pop concert.”

“Shooting Star” will also make its theatrical debut! Alan Menken and David Zippel originally wrote the song for the movie, but it didn’t make the cut. We’re so happy to see it come to the stage!

For the show, your favorite characters from the movie will be represented in surprising new ways.

Just like in the movie, the Muses will be guiding the audience through the show as storytellers. We can expect amazing high-fashion costume designs for the gods of Mount Olympus and humble attire for the humans and creatures of Earth.

Pain and Panic at EPCOT

Puppet designer Michael Curry designed stunning puppets for the show that are larger than life! The multi-headed Hydra monster looks incredible!

Disney Cruise Lines has been building unique puppets for their shows, including the Te Fiti puppet from “Disney The Tale of Moana” on the Disney Treasure.

“Disney The Tale of Moana” will be the new signature show coming to the Disney Treasure setting sail this December. Moana will encounter Te Kā on her journey to restore the heart of Te Fiti in this live show inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film.

This show was made exclusively for the Disney Destiny ship. “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular” and “Disney Seas the Adventure” will also be part of the cruise.
