REVIEW: This NEW Disney World Burger Has Us Questioning EVERYTHING

From the Steakhouse 71 Stack Burger to the new Wailulu Bar and Grill burger, we have strong opinions on beef and cheese. Now, there’s a new burger in Disney Springs that has us wondering if our rankings are about to change!

Over in Disney Springs, you can find The Basket at Wine Bar George! This is a walk-up quick service where you can get drinks and bites from the delicious Wine Bar George restaurant without the hassle of a reservation.

During our recent stop by The Basket, we tried out the new Smash Burger for $15! It has two beef patties, cheese, burger sauce, and pickles. It also comes with a side of chips, either salt and vinegar or regular.

You can order this one at the window, and you even get to watch the chef prepare it right in front of you. By the time ours was ready, we were basically drooling!

We don’t want to overstate this but this guy was delicious! It was fresh off the grill and they toasted the buns to give it come extra flavor and texture. It doesn’t have any crazy toppings like you might expect on other smash burgers so the patties, cheese, and sauce really have to stand on their own.

We need 10 of these ASAP!

We absolutely devoured this burger! It was juicy, cheesy, and the burger sauces added the perfect amount of flavor and creaminess. We would compare the sauce to a Big Mac sauce but it tasted more fresh, making us wonder if they make it in house. The pickles were SO crisp and refreshing as well.

We were seriously blown away by this burger, and we can’t wait to have one again and again. It’s nothing crazy, nothing flashy, but it’s a classic smash burger that hits all the right notes. It’s important to note this burger is only available on Fridays from 11:30 AM until 3 PM on Fridays. We’re seriously hoping this one stays around longer than just this summer.
