Don’t mind us, just hopping on a spontaneous flight to Disney World RIGHT NOW!
Fall is one of our favorite times of the year in Disney World. There are the many delicious menu additions at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, the spooky season fun of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and new seasonal offerings all around the resort. And now, we have yet another reason that we absolutely NEED to teleport to Disney World immediately!
Even if we’re solidly in fall mode ourselves, the weather in Disney World doesn’t always agree with us. It’s not uncommon to see high temperatures and humidity even after autumn officially arrives in mid-September. That’s why we’re always sure to check the forecast right before we leave for a Disney World trip, especially in September and October, instead of just assuming we can expect cooler fall weather.
Planning a September trip to Disney World can be a roll of the dice as far as weather goes. But if you’re heading to the Most Magical Place on Earth this weekend, we’ve got some great news for you!
The first cold front of the season is expected to arrive in Florida this weekend, and some areas may wake up to temperatures in the 60s, along with lower humidity, according to Click Orlando News.
While the morning temperatures are expected to be cooler, the afternoon high temperatures are unlikely to see major changes (current forecasted highs for this weekend are in the low to mid-80s). With that in mind, be sure to opt for layers if it feels chilly when you start your park day, so you can adjust as needed as the temperature rises throughout the day.

And, when we say we need to get on a plane to Disney World RIGHT NOW, we mean it, because this cold front isn’t expected to last for long. Higher humidity is expected to return early next week, along with high temperatures in the mid to high 80s.
We’ll keep our fingers crossed for more fall weather to make its way back to Disney World soon! Stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates about all things Disney!
