We’re always keeping our eyes peeled for the latest and greatest Disney snacks in Disneyland Resort, and if you’re visiting Disney California Adventure soon and love cheese to the max, boy, have we got the meal for you!
Over at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta, there’s an interesting new option available, and we weren’t totally sure what to expect from it. To our surprise, if you love mac and cheese and don’t mind a little spice, this is a must-grab snack!
At this spot in Paradise Gardens, you can grab the new Spicy Pasta Pizza. One slice will cost you $9.49, or you can grab a whole pizza for $53.99, and it’s made with Andouille Sausage, Ditalini Pasta, Tomato & Vodka Cream Sauce and Fresh Basil.
This gave us some mac and cheese vibes with a little spice! The pasta didn’t add much other than some texture, and some bites of it was a bit burnt and had a crunch, but for the most part, it had a normal texture.
The main flavors here came from tomato and vodka sauce, giving it a creamy flavor with hints of fresh tomato. The spice was pretty light and most of it seemed to come from the sausage — we personally wish they had used a little more of it, but if you’re not a big fan of spice, it’ll likely be the perfect amount for you. If you’re looking for something cheesy and don’t mind a bit of spice, we’d recommend this!
