NEWS: See Harry Potter Land at Epic Universe Decorated for the Holidays for the FIRST TIME

I’m a sucker for seasonal decorations at theme parks. There’s just something so beautiful about seeing a park I know and love, with twinkling lights and garland, turned into a winter wonderland, despite being in Orlando, Florida.

Ready for the holidays!

This is our first winter season with Epic Universe, Universal Orlando’s newest addition, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic just got a festive makeover with the flick of a wand.

We were heading towards Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry when we saw a glimpse of green garlands and snowflakes. Hm, I think we have to get closer to see all the magic!

Come on in!

There they are! There are bushes of garland with red flowers in them. We couldn’t go full “snow-capped trees” in Florida, just the hints of the holiday are perfect.

You have to look a little closer to notice the details

Obsessed is an understatement! The gold wreaths match the land perfectly and make us feel like we’re really in Paris.

Here’s a closer look! Are those snakes we see? Must be a Slytherin nod.

So stunning

There’s more garland around the top of the shop buildings. They’re pretty high up, so they must have been teaching the students new spells to help hang all the decorations.

These wreath swirls have red ribbon. If you haven’t visited Epic Universe before, it’s easy to miss them because they blend so well into the theming. We’ll have to come back at night and see if there are lights twinkling.

Eek! It’s PINK! I love the snowflakes hanging in the windows and how they all look different. The pink ribbons are so pretty, too.
